So all the turkey has gone (thankfully) and the mountain of wrapping paper has been disposed of, so what now?
Sales shopping? The time of year when everyone takes leave of their senses and buy things that they know they'll never use.
I prefer to steer well clear of all the shops and websites offering amazing discounts on all the presents I just paid full price for! (insert straight faced smiley here...)
The kids have reverted back to their normal selves, arguing, disappearing when there are chores to be done and staying in their rooms like hermits.
Am I a Scrooge for wanting to take the decorations down so early? Is normality really another week away?
Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels this way?
